Einar Solberg of Leprous has recently completed work on his upcoming second solo album, the follow-up to 2023’s ‘16’, and the first live dates in support of his upcoming second solo album have also been announced.
Einar comments: “Stella Mortua is one of the darkest and most grandiose pieces I’ve ever written — a fusion of progressive metal and cinematic orchestration, recorded by the incredible Norwegian Radio Orchestra. It explores how envy and insecurity can quietly thrive beneath the surface of success. In this world, demons wear tuxedos, and pride slowly turns to paralysis.

Einar kicked off his solo career in 2023 with the release of ‘16’, an album of wildly diverse collaborations, that also saw him performing his first ever solo live dates, performing at the likes of Prognosis Festival, Euroblast, Hellfest & Rock Imperium, alongside a hugely talented live band.
